Ekon:ference is a section of the Ekonomist Media Group in charge of organizing business meetings, seminars, lectures and high-profile conferences whose content and topics, as well as attendees and participants, have become a pivotal element in the communication within the regional business community.

The aim of Ekon:ference is to raise the level of business co-operation in the region to a higher level and to gather under one roof the top managers of leading domestic, regional and global companies. The section was established in January 2005 and it has so far successfully organised over twenty conferences, forums, round tables and seminars. Our conferences offer a comprehensive breakdown of current business issues in the region.

Ekon:ference favours stimulating discussions with active contributions from all participants. Such a concept provides interesting ideas that can be used in practice, both in the routine and the longer-term business operations.
