Ekon:ference

Ekon:ference is a section of the Ekonomist Media Group in charge of organizing business meetings, seminars, lectures and high-profile conferences whose content and topics, as well as attendees and participants, have become a pivotal element in the communication within the regional business community.

The aim of Ekon:ference is to raise the level of business co-operation in the region to a higher level and to gather under one roof the top managers of leading domestic, regional and global companies. The section was established in January 2005 and it has so far successfully organised over twenty conferences, forums, round tables and seminars. Our conferences offer a comprehensive breakdown of current business issues in the region.

Ekon:ference favours stimulating discussions with active contributions from all participants. Such a concept provides interesting ideas that can be used in practice, both in the routine and the longer-term business operations. Events organised by Ekon:ference assemble eminent experts in the fields of business, economy, politics and education, who have major influence on how the business community thinks.

Speakers and participants in our events are competent experts with remarkable backgrounds in various fields of economy. With their presence and direct participation in our events they contribute significantly to the quality, seriousness and relevance of the views presented. Ekon:ference conceptualises its events with careful consideration of the most relevant topics in the field of economy and business, and the range of topics is expanding constantly.

To date we have organised conferences on financial services, capital market, real estate market, renewable sources of energy, telecommunications, corporate social responsibility, health care and pharmaceuticals, consumer goods market and many more. As for the next year, we plan to organise events on the topics that will mark economic trends both in the country and in the region. By participating in our conferences you contribute to raising the standard of the business climate in the entire region. So, stand by us.
