Competition for the Best Media Work on the European Integration Process launched

The competition was launched on 20 July this year and it is open for the journalists of all printed and electronic media registered in Serbia.The prizes will be awarded in five categories: the best television report, the best radio report, the best newspaper report, the best report published in the local media and the best report on small and medium enterprises

The Serbian European Integration Office, the Delegation of the European Commission to Serbia and Erste Bank have launched a new Competition for the Best Media Work on the European Integration Process in Serbia Published from 1 January to 1 November 2009. The competition was launched on 20 July this year and it is open for the journalists of all printed and electronic media registered in Serbia.

The prizes will be awarded in five categories: the best television report, the best radio report, the best newspaper report, the best report published in the local media and the best report on small and medium enterprises.

The jury comprised of the representatives of the European Commission to Serbia, Serbian European Integration Office, Erste Bank and journalists will announce the winners by the end of November.

The winners will be awarded with a study trip to Brussels, where they will have the opportunity to meet and talk to the European Commission and European Parliament officials. Erste Bank will award the winners with 35,000 dinars each.

All editorial boards are invited to forward this information to their journalists and encourage them to send the reports that have contributed to the better information of the Serbian public about EU-related subjects, dissemination of European ideas and values and, finally, which have contributed to the European integration process in our country.
