Web Fest is the first regional festival launched to advocate the use of Internet services in Serbia and highlight best of breed and high-quality websites in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia and FYRMacedonia.

The festival got its start in 2007 when two of our websites were awarded, Yellow Cab, a guide to what's on in Belgrade currently undergoing a massive overhaul, and the Anti-Corruption Council of Serbia website.

This time we pulled together a list of several websites that we believe are worthy of recognition, some of which we added below for your viewing pleasure. Most of the websites use eCMS, our proprietary content management system, with few using Flash.

If there's one that you think should be up for an award, feel free to cast a vote. Voting begins on November 2 and there's plenty of time to look around and select your personal favorite.

The Web Fest website has already attracted a large number of submittions across several categories. Voting will run until November 26 when the winners will be announced and some interesting insights obtained into the state of the Web in Serbia and the region.
