Following the launch of the new ski season, hotels at Mt. Kopaonik have opened doors to new accommodation capacities.

Following the launch of the new ski season, hotels at Mt. Kopaonik have opened doors to new accommodation capacities.

MK Group has last week symbolically cut a ribbon marking the opening of the Angela Hotel, resulting from a merger between Zvečan and Ras accommodation facilities. The new four-star hotel is fully refurbished and has a half-bard offer. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the Congress Centre.

This is just a part of high-intensity activities of MK Group at Mt. Kopaonik in the last year. Namely, MK Group has invested more than EUR8 million into the reconstruction and modernisation of the whole tourist complex at the mountain.

The refurbished Grand Hotel will include 75 fully modernised rooms and 2 new exclusive presidential suites. New architectural designs have provided the Aperitiv Bar, Havana Bar, and the Garden Club Restaurant with authentic mountain-atmosphere features.

Reconstruction works have been focused on higher energy efficiency, power saving, heating improvements, and replacement of water pipe systems. New elevators have been added, and the whole restaurant is new, with a new kitchen and air-conditioning systems.

MK Group is most proud of a wellness and spa centre, Grand Oaza, covering 2,200 square metres. There are also new modern indoor children playgrounds, an eight-line bawling room, a fitness and a business centre.
