Eurobank EFG is the winner of the annual award of the Club of Economic Journalists, the “GOLD PLAQUE in the banking sector for 2009”. Eurobank EFG was presented with the award for the bank of the year at the ceremony titled “Companies and personalities who marked the Year”.

This award has been granted to Eurobank EFG for its exceptional results in 2009, Eurobank EFG is the fifth bank in Serbia according to its size, with market share of 6.1% and is constantly among the first three banks as per capital strength. The Bank’s network covers the entire country – 1,600 employees servicing more than 800,000 clients in 119 branches and 9 regional centres.
On the Serbian banking market, Eurobank EFG has reaffirmed the leading position in 2009, in a number of important business segments, such as retail deposits, consumer lending & credit cards, lending to small businesses and entrepreneurs, mortgage lending and money markets.
