Chicago – In the heart of American Midwest, Chicago is the city that pulses 24 hours a day, seven days a week. “The Windy City”, the capitol of Illinois, is a world city due to its history and attractions. For this very reason it has been home for numerous immigrants from all over the world.

Chicago is also known as second city by the number of Serbs, right after Belgrade. According to unofficial data, the number of citizens of Serbian origin is between 350,000 and 500,000.

If you are planning to visit Chicago you will enjoy its amazing architecture, including several fantastic skyscrapers. One of the ‘must do’ visits is a city tour by boat; you will enjoy the view listening to experts and learning from them about first-class architecture that inspired engineers, architects and designers throughout the world.

As one of the leading cities in the U.S., Chicago is a mixture of numerous interesting sights, sounds and tastes. While you are shopping, eating or just touring the city, you will feel like nowhere else in the world. In any case, you will never be bored because each season and time of the day bring new excitements.

Have you ever wondered what there is to see in South Dakota? On February 27, 2010 starting at 3:00PM, the USA Pavilion will highlight the state of South Dakota as a prime tourist destination.

Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about South Dakota and all the reasons it should be on any traveler’s ‘must see’ list when visiting the United States.

Mount Rushmore is South Dakota’s world-famous attraction (visit the booth between 3pm and 4:30PM to get your picture taken within a postcard of Mount Rushmore and send it to a friend), but this state has so much more to offer.

Sprawling prairies, fertile farmland and glacial lakes dominate the landscape in eastern South Dakota. Prairies and ranchland are common in central South Dakota. Mountains grace the western skyline, and in the southwest, striking Badlands formations rise abruptly from the surrounding prairie.

The Missouri River runs through the central and southeastern part of the state. Lakes, formed by retreating glaciers thousands of years ago, cover the northeastern corner of South Dakota.

Come see what you are missing. For more information on South Dakota contact: Department of Tourism and State Development, Capitol Lake Plaza, 711 East Wells Avenue, c/o 500 East Capitol Avenue, Pierre, SD 57501-5070. Tourism Email
