The Serbian Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA) will grant Exporter of the Year 2010 Award on December 07, and applications are to be submitted by December 01. The awards will be granted in five categories – best exporter of the year, best new export product, winning of new market, best exporter in the SME category, and, for the first time this year, best exporter in the CSR category.

“Eurobank EFG" will grant EUR15,000 to the winner of the Best Exporter in the SME category for improvements in export activities, “DHL International Beograd d.o.o." will reward the winner in the Winning New Market category with EUR10,000 in its services, “Orange Studio” will design a marketing campaign worth EUR10,000 for the winner in the Best Export Product category, while the SIEPA will reward the winner in the CSR category in the form of its appearance at foreign markets.

Head of SME in “Eurobank EFG”, Velimir Babić, has said that the bank’s decision to participate in this year’s election of the best export company is motivated by its strategic orientation towards strong support of all forms of improvements regarding competitiveness of the Serbian economy and activities of local companies at the foreign market.

According to CEO of “DHL International Beograd d.o.o.“, Darko Babić, the company traditionally supports the “Exporter of the Year” Award, since it aims to support Serbian exporters, primarily SMEs, to easily market their products worldwide by offering its services, modern transportation and logistics solutions.

Director of “Orange Studio”, Nebojša Babić, has said that last year this marketing agency designed a visual identity and promo campaign for Aero East Europe from Kraljevo, and that this year it will help the best exporter to be presented at the international market in the best manner.

The Award ceremony will be organised in the City Hall of Belgrade on December 07. An expert commission, comprising Vice-President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Mihajlo Vesović, Assistant Minister in the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development, Nenad Ilić, a Professor at the Faculty of Economic at the University of Belgrade, Saša Veljković, Editor of “Ekonomist” magazine, Vojislav Stevanović, and Director of the SIEPA, Božidar Laganin, who is also the commission president, will decide on this year’s winners.
