According to AIESEC student organization, Coca-Cola Hellenic Serbia is voted the Most Desirable Employee in 2011 at the Career Days education, practice and job fair. This research is conducted since 2006 and this year the survey included more than 10,000 fair visitors, mostly young graduates under 25 years-of-age

Coca-Cola Hellenic Serbia received top marks in the following categories: Recognisability, Prestigious Company, Learning Opportunity, Career Impetus Opportunity, Challenging Work Tasks as well as Favourable Working Conditions. The list of desirable companies, according to young respondents, includes Telenor, National Bank of Serbia, as well as Telekom Srbija and the Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS)

’’The survey on the most desirable employer is organised within the Career Days, the traditional project organised by AIESEC student organisation for the 17th consecutive year. We are very pleased that visitors are recognising companies investing in young people and that our national partner, Coca-Cola Hellenic has been elected the most desirable employer, AIESEC spokesperson Maša Marjanović explained.

In addition, the survey shows that the most important source of information about companies among the young is the Internet, followed by newspapers, Career Days and personal contacts. In regard to prospects of finding a job, the majority fears that they will not find a job suitable to their skills or that they will find an appropriate job only after a long-period of job search. Moreover, 15 per cent of the respondents fear and think that searching for a job they like will be very difficult, whereas 24 per cent of the respondents has positive attitude in regard to finding a job.

In order to gain valuable skills and to find a job more easily, young people in Serbia are actively involved in education-related development apart from their faculty. As the largest student organization in the world, AIESEC offers students the opportunity to participate in international internships before they find a job, thus gaining experience that employers approve of. In Serbia, recruitment is being done through nine local AIESEC offices.
