Winebow to import three wines from Serbia

Following a fierce selection process and numerous taste tests which were held in New York, Winebow opted for 'Morava' produced by the Jelic wine cellar, 'Portugizer' from the Macak wine cellar and 'Jelena' from the Janko wine cellar, reports the web magazine vino.rs.
Winebow, one of the world's largest importers and distributors of wines with an annual revenue of hundreds of millions of dollars, decided to import three Serbian wines to the U.S.
Following a fierce selection process and numerous taste tests which were held in New York, Winebow opted for 'Morava' produced by the Jelic wine cellar, 'Portugizer' from the Macak wine cellar and 'Jelena' from the Janko wine cellar, reports the web magazine vino.rs.
The owner of the Janko wine cellar Dragan Vasic expects first deliveries of wines to be shipped to America at the beginning of summer.
Although certain details are yet to be clarified, it is sure that the three chosen wines will arrive in the U.S. with a label reading “Wines from the Balkans”, and not with the Serbian label, as the U.S. citizens have a clearer idea as to where the Balkans is.
