Not even after yesterday's bilateral meeting, is the dilemma concerning the construction of Bar-Boljare highway resolved, Mina-business writes.

Instead of precise information, two PMs, Milo Djukanovic and Jadranka Kosor, agreed to jointly plea for bank guarantees from the international institutions. According to Djukanovic , the guarantees of Konstruktor Split are the only ones which remain uncertain.

"It will be our pleasure to continue cooperating, which would fulfil our aim, to get to the first section of the future highway", Djukanovic said at the press conference, adding that the final decision will be known in 15 days.

"The job in question would employ 5,000 Croatian workers and engage all construction companies available in Montenegro", Croatian PM Jadranka Kosor said, stressing the importance of the 'job of a century' as was characterized in the media.

Namely, at the tender for construction of Bar-Boljare, worth over EUR 2.77bn, the consortium comprising Konstruktor, IGH and Tehnika ranked first.

However, Croatian companies were obligated to submit guarantees worth EUR 124mn, which they still have not done.
