Albania makes EUR 60 million profit from electricity sale

According to Albania Power Corporation director Muharem Stojku, daily output has reached 29.3 million kWh, which is the largest production ever.

As a result of the favorable hydrological situation in the reservoirs of Albania's hydro plants, a record electricity output has been registered in Albania this year, MIA reports from Tirana.

According to Albania Power Corporation director Muharem Stojku, daily output has reached 29.3 million kWh, which is the largest production ever.

"Fourteen million kWh of the daily production is being sold", stressed Stojku.

He said the company has made a EUR 60 million profit from the electricity sale this year. These funds are used for repayment of debts and operational costs.
