More than 90% of the European citizens are in favour of the Common Agricultural Policy and most of them approve of the preservation of the funds allocated for the Policy’s implementation, the Eurobarometer survey results read.

In Greece, 55% of the polled have found the support ‘insufficient’, whereas the people in Bulgaria and Latvia of the same opinion account for 37%.

The people in Scandinavian member states are of the opposite opinion and claim that the support in question was ‘excessive’.

74% of the Greek respondents are in favour of continuing the financial backup for farmers in the years to come.

73% of the Bulgarians and 69% of the Estonians share that view. However, in Denmark only 15% of the polled support the idea.
