Sarajevo Business Forum opening

The First International Investment Conference of "Sarajevo Business Forum", organized by the Bosnia Bank International (BBI) and the Group of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), began in Sarajevo on 6th April.
The First International Investment Conference of "Sarajevo Business Forum", organized by the Bosnia Bank International (BBI) and the Group of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), began in Sarajevo on 6th April.
157 investments projects will be presented at the two-day forum worth 11.5 billion EUR, out of which 40 projects from the energy sector, 33 projects from the infrastructure sector, 48 from the tourism domain and 36 projects regarding the agriculture field.
The projects will be offered to the investors coming from the Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, China, Qatar, Malaysia, Turkey, Indonesia, Jordan, Kuwait and other countries.
The forum will be attended by the Prime Minister of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the President of the Islamic Development Bank, Ahmad Mohamed Ali, the Former Prime Minister of Malaysia, Mahathir Mohamed, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Ahmet Davoutouglu, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain, Miguel Moratinos Cuyaube, the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC), Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, the U.S. Deputy Secretary of the State, James Steinberg, the Croatian Minister of Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship, Đuro Popijač, the Slovenian Transport Minister, Patrick Vlačić, the General Director of Al-Jazeera Network, Wahad Kanfar, and many others.
The conference will gather around 600 investors, the local entrepreneurs and guests.
