Winners of the 2010 European Young Journalist Award will visit Istanbul from 8-12 May for the winners' trip and final conference in celebration of their success.

Winners of the 2010 European Young Journalist Award will visit Istanbul from 8-12 May for the winners' trip and final conference in celebration of their success.

At the closing conference, the issues tackled in their winning reports will be discussed as well as the perspectives of the Western Balkans, Turkey and Iceland.

The competition for young journalists aged 17-35 from EU member states as well as from candidate countries and potential candidates. was organised by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Enlargement and is one the largest pan-European competitions of its kind with over 1000 entries this year.
