About 2,500 protesters, members of the Cartel Alfa trade union confederation from education, administration, police, as well as pensioners, gathered on Tuesday before the Senate entrance of the Palace of Parliament, shouting chants for the government's dismissal, the right to decent life and the halt of the social genocide.
Many of the banners display messages against the government and President Traian Basescu, who is considered responsible for the "long survival" of the Boc Government.
Not in the last place, the lawmakers are urged to back the motion of censure and thus help oust the government - "Vote for us, vote for the motion" and "No aye to wage and pension cuts.'
Fresh groups of protesters keep coming and lining the streets around the Senate entrances.
