Croatia Airlines flight attendants and some of the company's pilots will go on strike on Friday starting at 6am, the Airplane Cabin Crew Union (SKOZ) has announced.

Croatia Airlines flight attendants and some of the company's pilots will go on strike on Friday starting at 6am, the Airplane Cabin Crew Union (SKOZ) has announced.

SKOZ treasurer Hrvoje Humek said the company can cover a half of its 40 flights scheduled for Friday with 20 per cent of the staff that are obliged to work during the strike.

Some of the Union's grievances are that the cabin crew receives their schedules just an hour before the flight and that there are no breaks scheduled for the crew, the Croatian daily Vecernji List reports.
