Premier Berisha meets NAAC Executive Director

PM Berisha expressed gratitude to Mr. Mustafaj for all his worthy contribution, the substantial role of NAAC, but even of all the Albanian Diaspora in the USA for keeping alive spirit of Albanianism like in the past and even its role in the democratic developments.
Prime Minister Sali Berisha received yesterday Mr. Avni Mustafaj, Executive Director of National Albanian American Council (NAAC).
Mr. Mustafaj thanked PM Berisha for the hospitality and conveyed the friendly greetings of all members of his organization as well as of all Albanian Diaspora in the USA. And he also expressed congratulations for Albania major achievements during the recent years.
PM Berisha expressed gratitude to Mr. Mustafaj for all his worthy contribution, the substantial role of NAAC, but even of all the Albanian Diaspora in the USA for keeping alive spirit of Albanianism like in the past and even its role in the democratic developments.
The talks also focused on the International Court of Justice ruling on Kosova independence. PM Berisha emphasized that this ruling consists the greatest victory for all the Albanians in their history. The prime minister said that this verdict is the greatest reward and deepest gratitude for all those who by their sublime sacrifice, by their fight and effort brought about the independence of Kosova.
In this context, PM Berisha expressed the determination of the government of Albania to make its contribution toward a fresh chapter in the history of relations between the Serbs and the Albanians, the relations between Tirana and Belgrade and to encourage the relations between Prishtina and Belgrade.
On his part, Mr. Mustafaj thanked PM Berisha and the government of Albania for the major contribution and all its efforts for recognition of Kosova independence.
The prime minister acquainted Mr. Mustafaj even with the political and economic reforms Albania has undertaken in the framework of meeting the criteria for visa liberalization and the country integration into the EU.
