Farrmec Cluj Cosmetics plans to enter Chinese market

Farmec Cosmetics maker of Cluj (426 km north-west of Bucharest plans to export Gerovital and Aslavital product ranges to China and Eastern Europe, Company's general manager and Romania's representative at World EXPO Shanghai 2010 Mircea Turdean told Agerpres.

Farmec Cosmetics maker of Cluj (426 km north-west of Bucharest plans to export Gerovital and Aslavital product ranges to China and Eastern Europe, Company's general manager and Romania's representative at World EXPO Shanghai 2010 Mircea Turdean told Agerpres.

'We export beauty products to 60 countries. We plan to enter the Chinese market, and in this respect, we are interested in one or more distributors. The products we want to trade are those of the Gerovital and the Aslavital ranges,' Turdean pointed out, adding that no strategy for launching the Farmec products on the Chinese market, have been outlined, so far.

Farmec Company has been exporting its products to Japan, for longer than 40 years, the exports value amounting to 700,000 USD, every year.

The Company's official also stressed that a turnover by 5 or 6 percent higher is expected in 2010, compared to 2009 when it reached 23 million euros.
