US company in charge of Biza’s dismantling factory

The American company, which would help in dismantling 600 tons of ammunitions, has been set in charge of the dismantling factory of Biza in Martanesh.

The American company, which would help in dismantling 600 tons of ammunitions, has been set in charge of the dismantling factory of Biza in Martanesh.

This company was commissioned by the US State Department, and its main purpose is to destroy all excessive ammunitions of the Albanian Armed Forces.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the US embassy in Tirana. Deputy Defense Minister Ekrem Spahia greeted US for the help it has given Albania.

The dismantling process will end within 2013. At the end of the ceremony, 2 tons of ammunitions were dismantled, which signed the beginning of this project’s implementation.
