Budget revenues in August registered surplus compared to projections, said the Finance Ministry, adding the trend resumed from the previous month.

Budget revenues in August registered surplus compared to projections, said the Finance Ministry, adding the trend resumed from the previous month.

There is surplus in the total revenues by 0.6 percent, whereas the tax revenues exceed by two percent compared to projections.

The Value Added Tax (VAT), which represents one of the basic indicators of economic activity, registers surplus by 2.5 percent.

The Finance Ministry says favorable trends in the economy in the course of the second half of 2010 resume, which is reflected on the budget revenues.
