The evaluation of the middle infantry battalion and helicopter detachment starts Sunday in the frames of the exercise "Balkan Flash 2010".

The evaluation of the middle infantry battalion and helicopter detachment starts Sunday in the frames of the exercise "Balkan Flash 2010".

The evaluation of the two units has begun early Sunday at "Jane Sandanski" military barracks in Stip and at Petrovec military airport.

Training, operational capability and combat readiness of middle infantry battalion and helicopter detachment will be evaluated at different levels in the next two days. The middle infantry battalion will wrap up evaluation process by verification of NATO evaluation level 2 - CREVAL and aviation detachment will conduct self-evaluation level 2 TACEVAL.

The evaluation of the military police unit was finished Saturday, which was positive and this unit will officially receive the NATO level 2 - CREVAL certificate, as prerequisite for deployment in NATO-led missions.
