A cold front is expected to sweep through Croatia next week, bringing along sub-zero temperatures and snow.

According to the meteorologists, the snow will come to Gorski Kotar on Monday, with the white powder reaching Zagreb, Rijeka and Varazdin the following day. Dalmatians and Slavonians will be spared the flakes this time around, but can expect heavy rains.
Before then the present high temperatures will continue over the weekend, with the average on Saturday expected to be 14 degrees of Celsius, the daily Jutarnji List writes.
