Montenegrin police arrested on Friday morning Mayor of Budva Rajko Kuljaca, Budva’s Deputy Mayor Dragan Marovic, and about ten more people, Montenegrin Interior Ministry told Tanjug.
Montenegrin police arrested on Friday morning Mayor of Budva Rajko Kuljaca, Budva’s Deputy Mayor Dragan Marovic, and about ten more people, Montenegrin Interior Ministry told Tanjug.
Dragan Markovic is brother of outgoing PM of Montenegro Svetozar Marovic.
The reasons for their arrest are still unknown to the public, but the well-informed sources say that Supreme State Prosecutor Ranka Carapic issued a warrant for their arrest because of the alleged illegal actions regarding the Zavala case.
The Network for Affirmation of the Non-governmental Sector insisted the illegal actions were performed.
The accused were arrested in Budva and transferred to the in the Supreme Prosecution in Podgorica.
