Ambassadors of member countries of Peace Implementation Council to BiH, except Russia, warned National Assembly of RS that adopting the Proposal of the law on cadaster of RS had significant implication in comparison to ownership of property in RS.

Ambassadors of member countries of Peace Implementation Council to BiH, except Russia, warned National Assembly of RS that adopting the Proposal of the law on cadaster of RS had significant implication in comparison to ownership of property in RS.

“We want to repeat that regardless of proposed laws all changes of ownership rights over state property are forbidden by decision of High Representative from January 5 until the decision of Constitutional Court of BiH”, it is stated in the letter sent to president and chiefs of delegate clubs of Parliament of RS, whose contents were published by Alternative TV of Banja Luka last night.

This prohibition also applies to Administration for geodetic and property-legal relations of RS, PIC stated.

“We think it is important to be fully aware of this fact before you start considering the proposed laws at the session of National Assembly”, it was stated in the letter.

Ambassadors of PIC are also concerned by the recent statements of RS’ officials that they will try to apply laws regardless of High Representative.

It was once again stated that the issue of state property must be solved by consensus in BiH.

Apart from Parliament delegates, this letter was also sent to president and Prime Minister of RS Milorad Dodik and Aleksandar Dzombic.

Proposal of the Law on Cadaster of RS is on the agenda of today’s session of National Assembly of RS.
