Majority of the Macedonian citizens, who are in good health, are construction workers engaged by Croatian, Bosnian and Libyan companies.

According to latest information from the Coordination Body, nine Macedonian nationals have already arrived in Sofia, with a plane arranged by the Bulgarian MoFA. After a brief stay in the Macedonian embassy, they will be transported to Skopje.

"Another group of about 30 Macedonian citizens is currently located in the Benghazi port, whereas the Turkish MoFA has confirmed they would be evacuated during the day. Furthermore, a group of about 10 people working in a Bosnian construction company are waiting at the Tripoli airport, and are expected to arrive in Sarajevo today or tomorrow", stressed Stamov.

According to him, the Macedonian MoFA has established communication with all regional states and Italy and their respective crisis HQs.

The ministry has no information about Macedonian nationals set to remain in Libya
