Economies of Croatia and Serbia have suffered damages due to the conflict in Libya, said late Friday Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor and Serbian President Boris Tadic.
After a trilateral meeting with Slovenian PM Borut Pahor, Tadic and Kosor said they referred to problems in North Africa and the possibility of refugee influx in Europe.
Kosor assessed that the Libya situation is reflected on Croatia's economy, since a number of Croats who worked in Libya have returned home.
Tadic said Serbia suffered damages as a result of the interruption in the operations of several Serbian firms contracted in Libya, adding mainly construction companies have been affected thus far.
Pahor stressed there are 300,000 refugees at the Libya borders, expressing Slovenia's readiness to engage in the settlement of humanitarian problems, but added that the country would not take part in the Libya military intervention.
