The government of Albania approved the agreement with the Islamic Development Bank on financing the building of Tirana-Elbasan highway.

PM Berisha reiterated the government considers the building of this road and Kërraba tunnel a high priority because it’s a work that will cut the travel time between the two cities and further integrate them into a single market.

The prime minister said the government is also committed to kick off building of another infrastructure work, the tunnel of Murrizi Pass, part of the Arbri road. The respective project is almost complete.
