The yachting industry is a big generator of earnings for Greece and the Eastern Mediterranean in general, say experts who will be presenting at this year's Posidonia Sea tourism forum in Athens to be held on 21 and 22 June. Greece however has registered a big drop in demand for sailing services in 2009.
One of the conference’s organisers Theodore Vokos said that this opens doors for the country’s competitors such as Croatia, Montenegro and Turkey, the portal Business writes
