The result of Tirana will return to the Central Election Commission (CEC). After a marathon inspection only on Monday, June 13, the Electoral College decided to partially accept the complaint of the Socialist Party for the final result for Tirana.

This partial decision means that the Electoral College defined the counting process for the votes that were placed by mistake in the 117 ballot boxes as regular, but it also obliged CEC, based on the principle of equality of the vote, to re-evaluate even the votes of the 368 ballot boxes that were not opened by the Central Election Commission.

In implementing this decision, the Electoral College addressed CEC for re-compiling the final table of results in Tirana. This practically means that the mandate of the next Mayor of Tirana will be re-analyzed by CEC.

The last decision of the Electoral College for the result of Tirana took nearly 14 hours from this institution.
