Non-stop to Zagreb start from Chicago´s Rockford Airport

Chicago Rockford International Airport (RFD) will start offering the only non-stop flights between the U.S. and Croatia on 17 June.

Chicago Rockford International Airport (RFD) will start offering the only non-stop flights between the U.S. and Croatia on 17 June.

Air Plus, a public charter company based in Chicago, will offer the once-weekly flights nonstop to Zagreb, Croatia, with continuing service on to Belgrade, Serbia, the RFD's website informs.

Flights will begin on 17 June, and will provide the Croatian, Serbian and Bosnian communities with low-cost, hassle-free connections between the U.S. and southeastern Europe.

Flights will depart from RFD on Friday evenings and return on Sunday afternoons, and can be booked at flyairplus.com or by calling 1-877-849-5002. Tickets cost 1,099 USD.

RFD airport is located some 140 kilometres northwest of Chicago.
