Serbia's Consul General in Thessaloníki Milan Dimitrijevic told Tanjug on Wednesday that the second day of the general strike in Greece, the border crossings are still very crowded.

The border crossings are still very crowded, noticeably more for entering Greece that for leaving the country, Dimitrijevic said. He said that truck traffic is still banned, and that customs officials are waiting to accumulate 100-odd cars in two columns before letting them through for an hour and a half to two hours.

Dimitrijevic said that customs officers very helpful to tourists from Serbia. He also pointed out that alternate routes are very much used and so far there have been no major complaints. He noted that the consulate is in constant contact with authorities at border crossings.
