28% of Bulgarian households live below poverty line, CITUB reports

Just about 8% of Bulgarian households had the minimum of 1050 euro a month needed for a household of 4 people, the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria (CITUB) has reported.

Just about 8% of Bulgarian households had the minimum of 1050 euro a month needed for a household of 4 people, the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria (CITUB) has reported.

The amount of money needed has increased by 6.8% in comparison to June 2010. 28% of Bulgarian households live below the poverty line, CITUB expert Violeta Ivanova said in an interview for the Bulgarian National Radio.
