Skopje hosts "Sounds of the Bazaar"

The goal of this international multicultural festival is to promote the bazaar's cultural heritage through musical performances from Macedonia and neighboring countries, as well as present traditional crafts and cuisines.
Event "Sounds of the Bazaar", organized by the Cultural-Information Center, is held at several points in the Old Skopje Bazaar on Thursday.

Cultural-Information Center director Sermine Purini expects that the event will give Skopje an European image, putting emphasis on multiculturalism in the city and the country in general.
The spirit of the Old Skopje Bazaar will be revived through plays, concerts, poetry, exhibitions, performances, documentaries, dance etc.
"The event aims at animating and affirming the bazaar, giving an additional input towards its cultural reanimation by opening the gates of art, creativity and entertainment", said Skopje Mayor Koce Trajanovski.
Events will be held in Kapan An, Murat Pasha Mosque, restaurant "Turist" and bar "Ekskluziv".
