Independent MP Panos Kammenos, recently ousted from main opposition New Democracy's Parliamentary group, announced his decision for a 'final break' with ND in statements to the Sunday newspaper "Typos tis Kyriakis".

Kammenos said his decision was prompted by ND leader Antonis Samaras announcing his intention to back a new loan contract with Greece's EU-IMF creditors.

The MP revealed that he was working to found a new political party and announced a date when this effort would be officially launched.
