Bulgaria lags behind in EU Fund asorption for 2011

Bulgaria is one of the countries with the lowest rates of absorption of EU approximation funds for 2011, a report on member states provided by the European Commission to the European Parliament's Committee on Budgets shows.

Bulgaria is one of the countries with the lowest rates of absorption of EU approximation funds for 2011, a report on member states provided by the European Commission to the European Parliament's Committee on Budgets shows.

The report was made public at the office of MEP Ivaylo Kalfin. Sofia ranks last but one, or 26th, in terms of absorption of the European Social Fund and is 25th in the case of the Regional Development Fund and the Cohesion Fund.
