Close to 64,000 registered unemployed young people in Bulgaria in 2011

In figures released by the Employment Agency for 2011, the average monthly number of unemployed young people aged from 15 to 29 registered in labor bureaus, was 63,690. They are by 190 more on the average measured in 2010.

In figures released by the Employment Agency for 2011, the average monthly number of unemployed young people aged from 15 to 29 registered in labor bureaus, was 63,690. They are by 190 more on the average measured in 2010.

The Employment Agency involves young people aged up to 29 in active programs and employment measures as well as in schemes under the Human Resources Development Operational Programme.

As a result in 2011 close to 44,000 unemployed young people started work. This number increased by 4500, or by 11.4 percent on 2010.
