Hesse: EU supports economic development of BiH through project worth 400.000 EUR

 Sarajevo Economic Regional Development Agency SERDA organized Employment fair in area of metal industry in Sarajevo today in cooperation with Ministry for Education, Science and Youth of Sarajevo Canton, Ministry of Economy of SC, Novo Sarajevo municipality and Posao.ba.

 Sarajevo Economic Regional Development Agency SERDA organized Employment fair in area of metal industry in Sarajevo today in cooperation with Ministry for Education, Science and Youth of Sarajevo Canton, Ministry of Economy of SC, Novo Sarajevo municipality and Posao.ba.

The fair, which is held within project ''Support to competitiveness of small and medium sized enterprises in metal industry through introduction of new technologies and professions, implementation of EU standards and strengthening of export abilities – EUMETAL'' was opened by Chief of Department of operations for economic reforms, trade and natural resources of Delegation of EU to BiH Johann Hesse.

He emphasized that it is extremely important to EU to support economic development in BiH, especially to secure direct support to entrepreneurs, so this fair, i.e. project is one of the ways that EU can help economic development of BiH.

''EUMETAL project was one of the best we received through public call, which we asked from all acceptable subjects such as municipalities, development organizations and others. This project includes competitiveness, new jobs and support to potential workforce on labor market'', Hesse said.

EU provided 400 thousand euros for this project and it covers competitiveness of companies and support to employment.
