BiH: New wood processing factory operates in Srbac

According to forecasts, in the first year of activity production is expected to reach around 35,000 tons of wood bricks, worth a total 8.5 million KM (4.35 million euro).

Panensa factory for wood products (wood bricks and panels) has been opened near the town of Srbac, in Republika Srpska.

This is an investment of Slovenian companies Panefin and Ensa, part of the Carniola-based group Sava, worth a total 20 million Bosnian Marks (KM) (some 10.23 million euro).

Panensa is the biggest factory of this kind on the Balkans and currently employs 140, the Italian institute for Foreign Trade (ICE) in Sarajevo said.
