Maribor-Pince motorway opened for traffic

The arm Spodnja Senarska-Vucja is 26.1 km long and connects Koper with the Hungarian border.
On Thursday, the Minster of Traffic Radovan Zerjav officially opened the last arm of the motorway A5 Maribor – Pince on the border with Hungary.

The investment value of this section of the motorway is estimated to EUR 316 million. The motorway is 82 kilometres long and worth EUR 823 million, announced the Slovenian Motorway Company.
The 34 kilometres long motorway section Beltinci – Pince was officially opened in August.
The deadline for the completion of construction was initially planned for 2013, but was later shortened to the end of 2008 due to increased transit.
