“We, as a service, even penetrated the office of former Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica, and the office of the current Serbian President, Boris Tadic. We took plenty of documents from Belgrade. If they want, I can prove this,” Veseli said.
Express carries a two-hour interview with former chief of the Kosovo Intelligence Service (SHIK) by Klan Kosova, in which he discusses his life, his activities at SHIK and his political future.
Arguing that the international presence in Kosovo was fully aware of SHIK’s activities, Veseli said that he never even intended to challenge KFOR and UNMIK.
“Do you think that we wanted to challenge the international presence? No. We functioned with the permission of the respective bodies,” Veseli is as saying.
Express adds that one of the strongest statements of the former SHIK chief was about the service’s activity in regional countries.
“We, as a service, even penetrated the office of former Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica, and the office of the current Serbian President, Boris Tadic. We took plenty of documents from Belgrade. If they want, I can prove this,” Veseli said.
