Plan of bilateral military cooperation between Serbia, Norway for 2010 signed

Representatives of defence ministries of Serbia and Norway signed a bilateral military cooperation plan for 2010 in Belgrade today envisioning intensification of cooperation, including high level visits.

Representatives of defence ministries of Serbia and Norway signed a bilateral military cooperation plan for 2010 in Belgrade today envisioning intensification of cooperation, including high level visits.

The plan was signed by the Chief Directorate for International Military Cooperation of the Serbian Defence Ministry Milorad Peric and Deputy Director General for Security Policy of the Norwegian Defence Ministry Kjersti Klebo.

The plan also envisions joint involvement of the military medical service of the two countries in the UN peacekeeping operation in Chad.

Norway is one of the major donors to the Serbian Defence Ministry. Over the last three years it has donated more than €4 million and plans to additionally invest more than €500,000, added the statement.
