EBRD on Gazela Bridge loan at end of month

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will decide at the end of February whether it will approve a EUR33 million loan for the reconstruction of the Gazela bridge in Belgrade, announced the public enterprise Roads of Serbia [Putevi Srbije] on Feb. 11.

A Roads of Serbia delegation, led by General Manager Zoran Drobnjak, spoke with EBRD management in London.
A statement reads that the condition of the Gazela bridge, the rehabilitation of the highway through Belgrade, as well as the continuity of the implementation of the action plan, were discussed at the meeting.
"EBRD representatives understood the seriousness of the situation, met with the Roads of Serbia delegation and scheduled a meeting of the bank's boards of directors for the end of February," the statement adds.
