Ambassador Warlick to visit Subotica

U.S. Ambassador to Serbia Mary Warlick will visit Subotica on Thursday and Friday, April 15 and 16. This will be her first visit to the city.

U.S. Ambassador to Serbia Mary Warlick will visit Subotica on Thursday and Friday, April 15 and 16. This will be her first visit to the city.

While in Subotica, Ambassador Warlick will meet individually with Subotica Mayor Sasa Vucinic, Director of the Hungarian National Minority Council Laszlo Jozsa, and with Subotica Higher Court officials.

On Thursday April 15, Ambassador Warlick will speak at the opening of the conference “New European Security Agenda- Security, Stability and Regional Cooperation” organized by the Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence in Palic. In the evening, Ambassador Warlick will open the performance of the Philadelphia Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra in Subotica’s City House.

Ambassador Warlick will also visit the City Library which is celebrating its120th anniversary, and the Subotica’s American Corner, where she will discuss Earth Day and environmental policy with several alumni of U.S. government-sponsored exchange programs. At the end of her trip to Subotica she will visit the cold storage facility Vocko Cooperative, which was formed with USAID assistance and has been a long-term partner of U.S. assistance programs.
