Career Days has a 16-year long tradition. In the past five years, this fair has been visited by over 50,000 job seekers and over 150 companies have taken part in it.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mladjan Dinkic said on opening the Career Days job fair at the Sava Centre that young and educated people must be more active in searching for jobs.

Dinkic stressed that this year will be one of the hardest ones in the last two decades, bearing in mind the high unemployment rate in Serbia, especially among the young population.

He said that job fairs, such as the Career Days, have helped around 20,000 young people to find jobs over the last two years, which shows how efficient these fairs are.

The Deputy Prime Minister said that the Career Days job fair gathers the most successful Serbian companies, of which there are more than 40 at this year’s fair.
