Serbian Ministry of Kosmet has severely condemned the stoning of the camp with UNHCR tents, where returning Serbs were located in the village of Zac, and it has been assessed that such a vandal act is aimed at preventing the return.

The Ministry has requested the international community and peace mission in the Province to prevent the violence of the extremist, directed at returnees, while appealing at the latter community not to be discouraged from staying in their homes.

The state of Serbia will extend all kinds of help to the returning Serbs, in order to survive in their households, it was stressed in the communiqué.

Last night, unknown perpetrators threw rocks at the tents that are accommodating the Serbs who have returned to Zac in late March, with intention to renew their burnt houses and work on the land that had been usurped by the Albanians.
