EULEX has extended the home custody to Nazim Blaca for another 60 days, as he had claimed to be responsible of political assassinations and other felonies he had committed as a member of the Kosmet secret service.

EULEX has extended the home custody to Nazim Blaca for another 60 days, as he had claimed to be responsible of political assassinations and other felonies he had committed as a member of the Kosmet secret service, after the orders of high officials of the Democratic Party of Kosmet, whose leader is Prime Minister Hashim Taqi.

In late November TV stations in the Province broadcasted the statement of Blaca about the assassinations committed along with other members of the intelligence service from 1999 to 2006.

He specified that at issue were 17 murders, attempted murders and threats. Blaca explained that the orders had come from them Minister of Defense in the interim Kosmet Government Azem Sula, as well as Xhavet Halliti and other officials of the Democratic Party of Kosmet, which they denied.

Blaca has repeated the statements at the press conference in Pristina, after which he has been put into home custody and the investigation has been opened.
