Unidentified persons threw an explosive device into the yard of a family house in Zubin Potok, a town in the Serb-dominated northern Kosovo.

Nobody was wounded in the incident, said reports.

Deputy Regional Director of Kosovo police (KPS) Ergin Medic told Tanjug news agency that the incident took place around midnight, and added that no one was injured in the explosion.

"Material damage was done to a vehicle parked in the yard itself," Medic said.

The motives and the perpetrators of the crime have not yet been identified, and the investigation into the case, which is considered an instance of causing general danger, is under way.
