Serbian Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic visited the Huawei Company in Shanghai today, one of the world’s largest producers of telecommunications equipment.
Serbian Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic visited the Huawei Company in Shanghai today, one of the world’s largest producers of telecommunications equipment.
Cvetkovic stressed that during a meeting with Huawei management it was agreed that the company is interested in investing in Serbia. He also pointed out the possibility of offering various incentives to Chinese investors willing to invest in Serbia.
Representatives of Huawei presented the Prime Minister with an invitation to sponsor a summer camp for 15 Serbian telecommunications students, who will have an opportunity to visit the Huawei Company and the EXPO 2010 show in Shanghai.
Last year, Huawei generated profits of approximately $22 billion, and around 50 of the world’s leading telecommunication companies use the services of this Chinese giant.
With a visit to this company, Cvetkovic wrapped up his four-day visit to China, after which he will make a two-day visit to South Korea.
