Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mladjan Dinkic will pay a working visit to the Netherlands today and tomorrow where he will present local businesspeople with investment opportunities in Serbia.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mladjan Dinkic will pay a working visit to the Netherlands today and tomorrow where he will present local businesspeople with investment opportunities in Serbia.
Dinkic will hold several bilateral meetings with representatives of the Dutch government as well as with representatives of the Confederation of Netherlands Industry and Employers VNO-NCW and the chamber of commerce.
From 2000 to 2009 Dutch foreign direct investment in Serbia amounted to $1.3 billion, making the country one of the top five investors in Serbia.
There are about 20 companies with Dutch capital operating in the Serbian market.
The Western Balkans, including Serbia, was declared a priority as a region of interest for Dutch investors in 2007.
The Dutch government expressed their readiness to provide assistance to companies interested in investing in our region.
This refers to forming mixed companies, bearing in mind the advantage of Serbia's membership in CEFTA, as well as the free-trade agreement with Russia and other countries, said a statement from the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development.
