Ambassador Warlick visits Novi Pazar

Together with Mayor Mahmutovic, Ambassador Warlick opened the downtown pedestrian street reconstructed with support from USAID. Ambassador Warlick also launched a consular kiosk at the American Corner Novi Pazar.

U.S. Ambassador to Serbia Mary Warlick visited Novi Pazar on July 8-9. This was her first visit to the city.

While in Novi Pazar, Ambassador Warlick met with Mayor Meho Mahmutovic, Assembly Speaker Borka Jovanovic, and representatives of the NGO community. She met with local entrepreneurs and visited the OSCE Training Facility. Ambassador Warlick also visited two nearby monasteries, Sopocani and Gradac.
